Mossy Throats
-VHS Hallucination (3" cdr)

I'm so excited to be able to release something by Mossy Throats, and this disc is undoubtedly one of the best things I've heard from him. If you haven't fallen into the Mossy Throat void yet, then you're in for a real treat. Dan Dlugosielski has a unique touch for creating bizarre soundscapes from discarded fragments of sound. VHS Hallucination is a journey inside the void of ancient VHS fuzz. Spending an hour staring at the lines of static, and just as patterns begin to form and take on recognizable shapes, it's over... Mysterious and captivating. Presented in a numbered edition of 50 hand stamped 3"cdrs. $4 postage page anywhere. SOLD OUT

Rambutan -Direct Shadows (3" cdr)
Eric Hardiman might be better known for his work in the psych guitar duet Century Plants, but it is in his guise as Rambutan where he is really free to stretch out into uncharted territory. This release sees Rambutan at his most minimal and focused. Things start off with a line made of sound, piercing into the listener's brain like a needle and then transforming into a shaking, bubling grind. Self-reflecting trance presented in a hand numbered edition of 50 on hand stamped 3" cdr. $4 postage paid anywhere. SOLD OUT

This is Communication -(Self Titled 3"cdr)
After hearing clips from Jeremy Walker's recent performances and watching a video of him demonstrating his home made oscillotrope, I was expecting him to deliver a blast of harsh noise to me. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised when he invited me over to hear his new project- This is Communication, which has a lot more in common with "Slanted and Enchanted" and "Loveless" than Merzbow. The home made noise makers are still present, but now they are being mixed with guitars, drums and vocals to create a unique drone-pop blend that is equal parts pure texture and sentimental pop melody. Signals converge and form songs, only to be deconstructed again into fragments of ideas and half finished sentences in the end. Presented on a 3" cdr in a hand numbered edition of 50. Cover design by the artist. SOLD OUT

Horse Hair Everywhere -Nothing Happened (3"cdr)
Five members of this nebulous sound tribe came together to attempt to score a film. The jury is still out on whether that happened or not- what is presented here is a fragment of that evening, consciously and accidentally manipulated for maximum openness and space. Five individuals, one screen, working in the dark- deep inside a groupthink trance. This is what happened. Presented on a 3" cdr in a hand numbered edition of 40. Cover film stills by Geoffrey Sexton. SOLD OUT

Pink Priest -Cold Rock (3" cdr)
It seems that Pink Priest is finally starting to get the recognition he deserves and this disc is another great example of why . The four tracks on this disc offer a brief glimpse into a soundworld built upon subtle, almost unmoving, melodies and textural backdrops. A sense of calm introspection and quiet sadness looms in the background of each of these co-mingling tracks of shimmering beauty. It is an honor to present a work from such a sensitive sound artist. This is definitely one to pay attention to. Presented on a 3" cdr in a hand numbered edition of 50. Visual design by the artist.

Sparkling Wide Pressure
-Golden Thread (3" cdr
)
My friend Blake Barton gave me a tape a few months back which contained strange recordings of clanging drums, broken electronic sounds, half murmured chants, and other esoterica. The intent was for me to use these raw recordings to craft something new. The process was a strange one that evolved very organically and quickly- almost feeling like I was being guided by the tape itself. The result is a bizarre tribal trip into fields of tape hiss. Artwork also by Mr. Barton. Presented on a 3" cdr in an edition of 45.

Sparkling Wide Pressure
-Time Travel Melody(3" cdr)

I have a strange memory of standing on the back bumper of my Dad's pickup truck when I was four or five years old singing this melody that seemed to come out of nowhere. It stuck with me as a representation of a feeling of complete freedom and joy. Later, I revisited the melody in a teenage post-punk band- and now, 10 years after that occurrence, the melody returns again to further transport me. It has been filtered through my current state and barely resembles its original form, but the essence is still there. A kind of temporal bookmark. Presented on a 3" cdr in a hand numbered edition of 40. SOLD OUT

The Old Rig -Entrances (3" cdr)

The follow up to a recent tape on Digitalis limited, "Entrances" is a two part meditation on layered chords, tape loops, life inside electronics, and artificial landscapes. It is presented on 3" cdr in a hand numbered edition of 50. Cover film still by Geoffrey Sexton. SOLD OUT. Review @ The Ear Conditioned Nightmare
